You’ve arrived#

Tuesday, 23 September 2025, 11:00 a.m. This time, I went straight to the Kunststall. I rested on the bench for a few minutes, and then the gallery owner came over and greeted me. Today, he introduced me to three other students from the Semper School of Graphic and Media Design in Dresden who wanted to select some acrylic paintings.

First, I quickly explained what all the acrylic paintings depicted, because I had to go to work soon. They looked at the colourful square acrylic paintings and thought about how they could display them, and quickly came up with a great idea. They sorted the colourful paintings by colour – from light to dark – as colourful as a rainbow.

We had selected 25 acrylic paintings. The maximum was 50 acrylic paintings.

Active participation 2/2#

So there were still 15 to 20 missing. Three acrylic paintings did not make the shortlist. This meant that 20 acrylic paintings were selected.

I found it interesting what they chose to exhibit. Here is a selection: Ameixa is an icon pack, Arcticons Material You is an icon pack, BitAC is a Bitcoin address checker, CApod because they have Airpods, Debian Linux because you should use Linux, Prav, Simple because you should do sports…

They praised me for painting the acrylic paintings so beautifully.

And then it was already 11:40 a.m…#

…and I had to go to work. Everything else was done this week. I had already gotten a little impression and think they did a great job.

And then I drove away again – happy and satisfied.

I’m already looking forward to it.
